Library
The Boswell Grant Township Public Library has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s when it was constructed as a Carnegie Library. The interior and exterior has been meticulously maintained and updated. A new addition was added in 2003 to further serve the community. The building is over 6000 sq. ft. and has nearly 16,000 books. The library has 5 computers with high speed access to the internet. The library also offers books, magazines, DVDs and also has copy and fax services.

Schools
The Benton Community Schools serve Boswell with one Junior High School and four elementary schools. The Boswell Elementary school serving grades K-6 is set on a beautiful campus at the edge of town. With an enrollment of 152 students and a teacher student ratio of 1 to 12, the school offers a great learning environment. In addition to this the library offers Preschool Learning Tree which is an all day drop off learning adventure for children ages 3-6. Nearby colleges and universities include: Purdue University, The University of Illinois, Indiana State University, and St. Joseph College.

Residential
With over 400 homes in the community Boswell offers a good balance of old stately homes and new construction. The tax rates are low, the lots are big and crime is virtually non-existent.

Park
A beautiful new park sets near downtown.
The Boswell Community Park was started in 2001. The park was the work of several volunteers. Citizens of all ages worked together to make the park a reality. Several of our town ladies baked cookies and provided drinks for all the workers. It was truly a town project.
